I purchased the Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 because I needed something more capable for my property. My yard has a mix of open areas, tighter sections, and a few uneven spots, so maneuverability was important to me. The XT1 has been comfortable to drive and feels stable and well built.

The 42-inch cutting deck is a great size for my lawn because it lets me cover larger sections efficiently while still being manageable around landscaping. The steering feels responsive, the controls are conveniently positioned, and the seat is comfortable enough for longer mowing sessions. Most importantly, I'm happy with the finished cut. It leaves the lawn looking even and has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend mowing.
